hey. i loaded the batteries into the sp for the first time yesterday. am i safe to just leave those things in there? anyone had probs?
i once had a walkman die cuz the batteries blew up inside the bastard, so now i'm paranoid.
what do you fink?

I keep batteries in my sp 24-7. No problems so far.

batteries should leak only when they reach and\or excel expiration date printed on each battery. but it is advised to use good batteries like Duracell's, Sony and so - they tend to leak not so often like those cheap ass suckers.

hey frantic, do you keep the batteries in there even if yr using the adapter? or have you "moved beyond" the adapter now?
