pretty cool article about joey beats.. divine recourse is really cool, diggers delight heh...

seems as if he just records the loops and triggers them live, but thats a pretty fridgin creative was of using the 303/404

joe beats also did that mashup/rmx album of indie rock stuffs. which was pretty great. and yeah, diverse recourse is goooooood.

funny that you posted this - i was looking for youtube stuff of jb playing live just a little while ago and couldn't find anything. nicely niced, observ.

yea I just got his new album, "Divine Recourse" with that song as the opener titled "Don't Front". Shit is fresh...and I'm stoked to see he used the 404 in its production.

I know the source for that tune well. It's "Split" by 70's British blues/rock band The Groundhogs - I'd know that wah guitar intro anywhere!
