Hello, I was wondering how to sync my sp404 to garageband.

I really need to be play samples from my sp404 in sync with my time line in garageband.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

James.

Thats really helpful.

Im now getting a signal when i use my midi test software but garageband still isnt syncing with my sp 404.

It may help if i explain what i need this function for.

My drummer is playing to a click track from his garageband. I need his tempo to link with my sp 404 so that when he is playing i trigger samples to the correct bpm.

I have double checked the cables my midi interface works with my midi keyboard what am i doing wrong?

please help?

:? I have played around with GB, using a M-Audio controller for writing. The midi is super limited in GB, so do not expect too much. They may add more to later versions, but at this point it is not a pro-level piece of software. Great for sketches, but not for full blown painting. If you get anything working, please post. It would be great to hear what you figure out.

If you want to sync up with software, Abelton is fully equipped. But, you probably already knew that....

Cheers,
sX
