 Post subject: how can I chop a sample up and assign it to different pads?

Sorry i dont have a manuel and i looked at the online one but they just tell you how to record a loop. I have my sample recorded already, now I want to chop it up on 404 and assign to pads how can i do this? Is their an easy way?

Use the Mark button. Say you got a loop, press the mark button once to set the start of your chop and press it again to set the end of it. To assign the chop to another pad use resample (hit Resample button then Rec, press which pad you want to assign the chop to, then press the pad where the original chop is, let it play out, then hit Rec to stop resampling).

Copy your original sample to as many pads as you need chops, for each pad use the mark button to specify the chop for each pad. This way you can still modify the start and end of each chop if needed. Resample is cool to add fx to your sample but it is pretty useless for copying samples since resample degrades your sample quality even if you do it without applying fx.
