I posted a few months ago that I was having issues with my sp making noise when hooked up to my speakers(fine w/ headphones)and that it might be a grounding issue. Now Im pretty sure it is an issue with the line out on my sx.When I record anything from the red/white outs on the sx the sound is recorded but it has a hissy almost cassette like sound which I don't think is normal because my OG 404 does not sound like this.It sucks because when I add compression or whatever to the sound I recorded out it makes everything even louder and it sounds horrible at high volumes.Has anyone else had issues like this or is that just how the SX outputs sound? Also how long is the warranty on the sx(I think I bought it a few years ago online)?

I have no problems myself, though I've read RCA-jacks are considered to be noise sensitive in some ways. Shorter cables might help, maybe making sure that your cables aren't coming close to "magnetic fields" from other machines etc. Total n00b on everything electric, just sharing what I believe I've heard. Cleaning jacks and cable ends with some alcohol, could that help? Or drink it so you can stand the hiss.
