the sx by default samples in stereo, so every time you want to sample in mono you have to turn it off which can be a pain in the ass to do and if you forget a big hassle (don't want to waste polyphony on drum hits for example.)

to make it turn off and stay off hit external source, press the stereo button. the external source is now in mono and sampling is in mono. to turn it back on press it again.

didn't see this in the manual or mentioned anywhere so i thought i'd share, makes things a lot easier IMO.

I don't always sample in mono, but when I do, it's heavy hitting.

Thanks for the tip. I can't tell you how much time I wasted accidently sampling drums in stereo and having to start all over again.

Thank you so much! Most of the time I completely forget to disable the stereo. Works on og as well.

My one seems to not save this setting after you switch off - is that normal?

Same with the auto-record threshold - it resets to off after a power down as well. Is there a way to keep these switched??

Thanks!
