I dont own sp404 yet but Im definately going to buy one soon. Ive been thinkin of multitracking with sp and I came with an idea of how to use stereo sampling to get two channels ( dont know if this is already old tip) and inserting only left rca to input and not connectin right. then your sample should play only from left. is it correct? and if it works then sample maybe drums left and other samples with right input. just a thought.

yes you could do that but it would make not much sense IMO since to samples would still be stored as stereo samples wich bassically use 2 voices and the sp-404 only has 12 voices so you would quickly run out of voices.
