Sup Fam, I have been a fan of the MV-8000 since it's creation. I recently been saving my money to get one. However, I noticed that they are very hard to find nowadays. I'm looking to find one in the price range stated in the group ($600 - $1000). Hopefully, I'll be able to find one from a forum member first. If not, It'll propably be an ebay find.

Thanks for the continued inspiration.

Good luck with your hunt for an MV man. 1000$ is a very fair price for a secondhand MV8000, you might even get lucky and get a MV8800 for that kind of money. Peace.

Thanks for the support fam. My MV-8000 will be delivered tomorrow. I made sure to be home to receive it too. I can't wait. Paid under 800 for it. was an overstock item. So it's coming with all the trimmings. I'll keep you guys informed on this whole transformation. Can't wait to make my first beat.

Sup Fam, haven't been on for a minute. But YES I GOT IT...lol I'm trying to get over the learning curve aspect of it. Not to make excuses, but like mesaone stated before. It's easier if you read the books. So I need to make time to do that first. Also, apparently mines was a display unit previously. So there are files all over the place. But, I will tame this beast one day. I only been waiting 4-5 years to get it. Thanks to the fam for continuing to inspire me musically. I know that i will need lots of help in the future. I have been spending too much time on youtube looking for tips.

Up to now, I have been using my SP-404, and FL8 to make my beats. I want to switch to using the MV in the future creations.

Cool hearing you got one! Yeah it sure is one beast of a machine and it can be overwhelming or even intimidating when you're just starting using it.

Trust me though, it's eventually a lot easier than it looks. ( But you better start using it full-time. ;) )

Anyways, hit me up if you've got any questions, I'd be happy to help you with any struggles you might have. I'm very curious to see where other fellow SP users are able to take their MVs to.

Peace.

Thanks Bruh,
I really am having issues not using FL & the 404. I go as far as to turn it on. I even start going thru some sounds. Then I'll have an idea, and jump to FL to put it down quickly before losing it. I need to come up with a set routine to get me going. I waited a long time to get it. Now, I need to actually force myself to learn as I go.

I appreciate the support. I'm sure that the questions will be coming.
