There must be sum serious time stretching going on, cuz the sample pitched down is 127 while dilla's song is 99bpm?...unless he found a 45.. i doubt it tho.

Plus the sample was in the middle of sum awfull stuff he had to have listened to the whole thing to catch it!

hahaha woord i had a brand x record at one point, somethin about some of the dudes in it played with phil collins, actually phil collins was in the group for some records now that i looked it up, i traded it in at the record shop though cause besides one loop thats long since forgotten, shit wasn't really my bag, some cheesy fusion.......i can't check it pitched down to hear the loop, but i would imagine he pitched it in the machine, with whatever sampler he was using, and that lets you go much lower than a turntable can, he might of even pitched down and still timestretched it though, other machines do the time stretch game muuch better than SP's do, and there are examples of his tracks where he clearly timestretched a sample and it sounded almost fine

Credit has to go to four tet for digging up that sample... Dilla completely murdered him on the remix though
