So im sampling this drum brake and trying to record it into the "pattern select" area.

first i put the length to 2 (it was a short drum break)

then, i quantize to 4.

an when i hit record. 3, 2, 1, tap! an it records the drum break.
but then after it loops around again it doesn't play the drum brake. it just skips it an then when it looks again, it plays it then skips it again.

am i not suppose to let the sample run to the end of the recording?
plz help :?:
