This is the vote for whether we will have the wildcard round/ tag team battle or move right to the tournament bracket.

If you vote NO people who lose Elimination Round 1 will be :

Eliminated with no chance of coming back. :(
This would leave us w/ 16 people.

or

If you vote YES people who lose Elimination Round 1 will be :

Given the chance to come back through the WILD CARD R O U N D :)

we have 20 people.
4 groups of 5 for elimination round.

what if we take top 3 of each group = 12
these 12 enter bracket tournament

after 1 round there will be 6 left = 3 brackets
_________
meanwhile the 8 from elimination round enter a wildcard scenario that needs to ends wt 2 people left
to make the 4th bracket

somehow it seemed right to have the wildcard enter quarterfinal

just a suggestion
i dont think most folks care much anyways they just wanna battle

@YUBA I'm not quite sure I understand correctly lol.

Separating the top 3 from each group makes things a little confusing. :)

So everyone can see, this the math and timeline for how everything breaks down. 8)

ELIMINATION ROUND 1 - 1 v 1 v 1 v 1 v 1

4 groups of 5 people

4 people are eliminated completelly= 20 - 4 = 16

16 people advance to the tournament bracket.

If you vote NO, above is what the outcome of your vote will be.
______________________________________________________________________________
If you vote YES, below is what the outcome of your vote will be.

4 groups of 5 people

4 people are sent to the wildcard round = 20 - 4 = 16

4 people advance to bonus round = 16 - 4 = 12

* these 4 people have GUARANTEED bracket space

12 people remain competing in Elimination Round 2 / Tag Team

ELIMINATION ROUND 2 / TAG TEAM

2 v 2
2 v 2
2 v 2

6 people move to wildcard round = 10 people total in wildcard

6 people move to bonus round = 10 people in bonus round

* these 6 people have GUARANTEED bracket space

WILDCARD ROUND

10 people will compete for the remaining 6 spots in the bracket

battle format : tbd 8)

4 people will be eliminated completely

BONUS ROUND

10 people will compete for two yet two be determined bonuses to use in the tournament bracket.

* All 10 people have already acquired guaranteed bracket space.

battle format : tbd 8)

0 people will be eliminated

I voted to just move straight into the tourney after the elimination round.. the wild card round will be cool, but these tournaments always seem to go way longer than originally planned, and streamlining the amount of deadlines that we have to have would def be my preference... although I wouldn't mind benefitting from getting a second chance.. still I vote no

I couldn't agree with you more.

From what I've seen it's as simple as people not making deadlines.

Because of this, I will have to come up with some sort of protocol regarding late submissions.

That being said :

I don't want to have to keep making deadlines for individual people every round.

You entered the tournament knowing the commitment you'd be making, y'all should prepare accordingly. 8)

Everyone should have enough time to prepare for the rounds they are currently in as well as the rounds to come.

I will give you all the information/rules regarding the upcoming rounds in advance so that you can prepare.

I will post them in the main thread.

As for now :

You know the Elimination Round 1 will end tentatively on 10/22

+ 5 days of voting = 10/27

Elimination Round 2 - Tag Team Battle OR Tournament Bracket
vote dependent

Will begin on 10/28 - last for 2 weeks - and ends on 11/11

+ 5 days of voting = 11/16

You get the picture.

Plan accordingly.

I'll release late submission protocol, calendar of events, and rest of round rules shortly. 8)

Regarding Elimination Round 1 Deadline.

If you do not submit a track by that day Bandit Lu
or Teewok will be allowed to take your place, and you will not advance to a wildcard round, you will not advance to GO!, you will not collect $200.
