Hello all, this is SPBB #259! With the Dropbox link, you can stream and download all of the samples I have provided. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/9j2oor2kc91sqqk/AAARlFWAIHvjSf5ZFxWvjsJJa?dl=0 Included in the pack are the following: 1. From my vinyl collection (I hope you like crackle), it's the intros from four of the tunes off of Chick Corea's 1973 "Light as a Feather". Awesome Fender Rhodes sounds with occasional bass, percussion, and vocals. 2. Some cool miscellaneous sounds from my Novation Bass Station II that are in prime condition to have SP effects thrown on them. 3. Also from my vinyl collection, the second side of German electronic pioneer Klaus Schulze's 1975 "Timewind". You can listen through the whole thing or skip through, I'm sure you'll find some cool stuff to use. 4. I messed around on the upright bass for a bit, giving you some long notes to chop, as well as lines if you want to loop something. Do whatever you want with it! RULES: - Drums can come from anywhere, LoopmantrA's pack from last week was very cool if you don't have any https://soundcloud.com/user-853604300/drums-spbb-258 - Only SPs can be used to make the track, multiple SPs are allowed - Acapellas/vocals are allowed - External mastering is allowed - External instruments are not allowed - External samples are not allowed - Time limit is 3 minutes Poll will go up on Friday, June 29 Feel free to leave any questions or concerns, I will be more than happy to address them. Thanks! I can't wait to hear the results! |

SP404SX https://soundcloud.com/user-853604300/t ... er-spbb259 Used a bit of Corea's piano (also for the bass by using subsonic efx) and chopped the drums from the last week's pack. |

Before uploading my thing I guess, would the sounds of a clock count as external instrument sounds? Like recording an alarm clock or something. |

I think that's more of a percussive than harmonic instrument (though it's a bit tricky, could be harmonic as well) - so, personally I wouldn't mind, but it's always good to check with OP on these issues. It's fair to say that 'no external instruments' generally refers to guitars, bass, keyboards and such. Guess it just depends on how you perceive the particular sound. Sounds of the clock - I don't think anyone would mind if you use it, unless stated otherwise |
