Okay, so I'm really late too. Let me get in on this as Kabal, and let me slay this "Lord Oni" for you weak SP-Enthusiasts. Should always keep one Super Power Box in hand. I just sharpened my hookswords (fixed my 808) and I'm ready to use them

well now that I slept at night, , ,
just realised I was looking into Street Fighter players LOL [. . BLAZE . .]
so HIGH LORD ONI flees and lets DAEMON ONAGA take ovah

I think it's a good idea to gather all beats at the end and make a free download bc album, just for keeping it real for next trophys probably yo.
Just everyone should send their round beat in .WAV on :arrow: [email protected] (or PM me with a downloadable link)
I think this is already done in the past. [yo if anyone has any objections just let me know, I'm being inspired by these battles]
Also, for me using 2 Sps is ok

Gomez and rak can battle for sure but then we will end up with 7 winners in round 2... i guess if someone wants to volunteer to be in a three way battle for round 2 than we can do this smoothly.. otherwise we might need a couple more people before the end of round one for the full 16 person tourney and we can do four rounds

Damn my deadbeat ass should have checked the thread earlier. Do you want me to throw in some samples? I can check my hard drive to see if I still have the master tracks that wax uploaded during the last tourney.

Let me know. Think there might be a few other cats that want to get in it if we still want to open it up to other peeps.

Excited to get down. Also what is the time frame to get this done? I have Sunday/Monday off, maybe I can turn it in on Tuesday...

I'm lovin this open format. Technically, it sounds like we can dig in our own vinyl for each round and upload whatever we might use? Or r we only loading samples up prior to the start of the tourney?

"Lets give it at least a full week for everyone to get their entrys in... so with the last two battling eachother we have 16.. WHO WILL CHOPPERMAN AND SUPER DYNAMITE NINJA SELECT AS THEIR MK CHARACTER? if more people want to get involved they could start another conference/ second half of the bracket and then we could have an epic finals showdown between the two tournament champions!

And yes you can use your own vinyl.. anything goes as long as you use an sp .. obviously the theme is mortal kombat

Dont worry about making sure that the person you are battling are using the same exact samples... whoever gets the most votes wins.. personally, if its close, ill be looking for mortal kombat references/ sample usage for tiebreakers


And yes!! Throw in more samples!! Definitely post the samples you are using if possible so others can use them or just check out the source material... again its pretty much no rules but i think it would be cool if everybody used the samples that are being posted.. if for some reason you cant find the youtube version of a vinyl sample you wanna use thats cool tho

1.Players must choose Mortal Kombat samples that are posted here, doesn't matter the version of the game (or they can dig online n post link of their sample source). FX n VOX more than welcome.
2.Max 2xSP combo permitted, time limit 2mins. for the beat.
3.This is K.O., meaning 1vs1 beatbattles> doing a poll> winner goes to next round, Pyramid style.
4.Each round takes a week, let's say 7 days to make the beat> 2 days poll> next round.
5.All beats will be gathered by me, please send all beats at [email protected] OR PM me with download link , let's make a dope Album.
6.Warriorz turn on your weapons, do your best and have fun :!:
(I will keep editing this, just post ideas or questions)

Let's decide the starting date :twisted:
