I voted as such - 1.) Boogie F - best most original flip of the samples provided plus funky ass drums and overall production/ presentation. 2.) ATLS - amazing flip and the beat change unghhh... Fucking so good. 3.) HELLOPILL0W - Darkest dank on this one dayum. Extra honorable mention - PicoStation - Funkiest drums Lots of fantastic submissions this go around - dope (FLIPPABLE) samples helped tremendously. I think my votes boiled down to the most original flip of the sample(s) since a lot of them were flipped similarly. My submission SHOULD have been cleaned up/ edited since it was the result of my drunk ass trying to upload something, ANYTHING. Thanks for the listens regardless. |

Picostation - pretty clean imo. still gud doe timmytoga - DENG TIMMY YOU GOT DAT SWING l i f - quality as usual. Ny Odus - DAT TRUMPET!!! HOLY SHIT. MAD PROPS. ellaguru - aw hell yeah, this straight up sounds like it came out of an sp. gj meng ATLS - BANGER. Dat change up is pretty sick. PSGRzemlee - dirty but disorientating. reeferrix - HELL YEAH. YOU GOT DAT DIRT FACTOR AND THE SP SOUNDS. GOOD JOB MANG. HELLOPILLOW - after hearing all the other tracks, this one's a bit underwhelming. Deft_BNE - pretty basic, you have that dirty factor though! use more effects and one shots to make it less repetitive. ritchrd - good to see you participating♥ MarcoGrouch - YEAAAH. DIRTY AND CLEARLY MADE IN AN SP. GOOD SHIT MENG SpWarlock - DUDE. you put in so much fucking work. i see you mang. you got that dirt factor down for sure. kuddos. Echo Screen - feeling that swing and filter work. the samples you sprinkled over the track are dope too. Boogie_F - hey boogie, i think both you and i know that you could have done better. 'twas aight doe. YAKUL - DIRT!!! V GARBO. GJ on actually following the rules. Though I'm happy to see so many submissions, a lot of them missed the mark when going for that DIRTY factor. There's so many ways you can degrade the quality of sample that anything that sounds remotely clean to me was like immediately disqualified. You could have bit crushed, SLOWED DOWN, re-sampled.. there are so many approaches... My vote goes to YON. |
