Ok folks- I went to the local pier to get amusement park sounds and ended up also getting a few samples of bands sound checking for a pier concert. So- the source audio has some drum sounds! It was unplanned so I decided to let it stay. Also, I used a cheap cassette recorder to get all the sounds. There are many other interesting sounds included I would love to hear in your tracks. Rules: 1- 1 SP only using only samples provided- no computer mixing/mastering- raw transfer from SP! 2- Use the non musical material as much as possible. 3- Have fun resampling and creating!! Ya. Not sure I follow you though- I hear lots of hiss and compression imparted by the recorder. The samples of drums and sound check were from a concert PA at volume. Glad you like the samples. Alnitak_Kid wrote: haha that's mad. you just used the onboard mic?
