maybe it works if you get that shit by email?! *it's no must*

EDIT:

Allright me and the machine are done... it's 5'o clock in the morning so I guess it's time for breakfast so bite this: 8)

I call it Higher Illusions... and I know that mix is bad, cause I had to stretch, pitch, compress and switch FX on the fly... using mono samples sometimes also sucks.. That polyphony of the 404 isn't enough for me

The next thing is that I couldn't do many changes to the pattern at the ending cause the 404 told me FUL ...
I think reached the max number of notes?! Yeah I beat it...
Anyway I'm done, I'm glad and I'm tired...

i fudged a little sumthin but it's still far from what i got in my mind. i feel my cuttin' is gettin better, but i still would like to use a higher bpm; plus my train of concentration is all jacked while i'm at home, raising my daughter is cool but i got like four other people constantly on my ass. man, i really wish i could just practice non-stop for a whole year.

anyway, it's on myspace and it's called "madman."

This might be in the wrong place but what do you guys use to chop these samples up? Do you just use your SP?

Yes, in fact, only the SP is allowed to do the chopping, no DAW or Audacity editing allowed. Not that this is such a big deal.

Remember, apart from having fun, it's also meant to learn your gear. (Your SP, whichever one you own.) I hope you join in too man. 8)

Great work by all on this one. I'll save my detailed prop-giving for the voting... but some really nice tracks to listen to fo sho.

Here is my offering for battle 18:

count sierackula - 18 - carry your peace.mp3 - 4.47MB

Thanks for the response! I'm looking forward to participating, sadly I don't have an SP yet. I'm a week or two away from picking up a 606 (looks like the best one for me) so I'll really enjoy doing this for practice.

I really have to give you all props, all these remixes are really awesome but my favorite is probably IIIII's. I like the drum loop he made a lot. Idk who's took the most effort but his is different and I enjoy that.

Props to everyone though!
