Its the end of the year...I know a lot of us are celebrating Christmas/Holidays. Whether you are or not...I hope you are able to have some time off work and spend it with your family/friends and enjoy the close of the year (not to mention, make beats). Hopefully, we all live past the Mayan Apocalypse.

Vince Guaraldi was a talented jazz cat that threw down for the Charlie Brown Christmas special back in 1965. I included the instrumental and vocal versions of his main track from that soundtrack album in the best quality I could find. By the way...if you are looking for sample gold, you can't go wrong digging in Vince's catalog.

The only rules are that you have to use one or both of these tracks to build your track. You can use your own drums/percussion and vocal cuts/samples are allowed. No synths/outside bass, etc..

Deadline is Midnight on Dec. 26...and then we will vote.

I really dig the sense of humor, creativity and attitude of this community. As I listen to more and more SP beats from different producers, the multitude of distinct personal styles and ways of using the machine continues to amaze me.

Use just the 404 OG. All the bass is from the subsonic mfx (tuned as best i could to the samples). Enjoy.

i just started it today. all done on the 303. no real mixing or anything. i just figured i'd try to start getting in on these things. school and work have been kicking my ass and i want to keep on my toes a little bit.
