Ok my people! Who's got the blues?? If you feel it make that shit bluesy. And of course you can ignore that last sentence and create an impossible to recognize piece or anything in between. I just laid down some electric, acoustic, and bass/octave stuff for you to work with. There are some Jam Man Delay pedal drums at the end of the guitar file and a file w some random 505 sounds.

Rules: All SP, nothing outside other than blues vocal stylings if you feel inspired.

Enjoy, have fun, and lord have a little pity on our bluesy souls! :)

First track on the MK2. The main bulk of the beat was using the little pedal click and lead noises at the start as well as some reversed guitar. Used the resample method with pitch down, the scatter effect, filter and tape saturation/compressor on the master bus.

Good job man thx for jumping on this one. Dark! I like the use of the noises from plugging/unplugging. Dissonant chord choices sounds like tails of acoustic maybe. Some structure w the pause in drums mid way. MKII sounds good to me!

Alas, I find myself uninspired by your pentatonics and usually require actual samples and, in particular, break beats in order to get my creative juices flowing, which even then is a tall order atm, being in a funk with music as I have been for several months.

Good luck with your inspiration.

I want to but no I won the last one. Also I'm out of town and didn't bring my 505. I'll set up the vote unless anyone else is planning an entry. I'll post my own at some point when I get back.
