these all sound like they've been sped-up when I play them. Maybe I did something wrong?

All the samples are only 88kbps they need to be converted to 1411 kbps which is the standard bit rate . I use ableton live to convert the files ! but i'm sure any DAW could do the same job , hope this helps.

off topic....how do you share music on here? i seen people use zshare and box.net etc. you gotta sign up on them or what?

Thanks a lot- I have an improv trio and I use the 404 to transition and use samples from movies and vids- I find a LOT of things on the Internet Archive site- esp digging as the site organization is very poor.
