I get the 'unsupported' error when I throw them on compact flash to import them. Did you guys have to convert these to import them onto the SP-404?

I figured it out! They are in a PCM format. I was quickliy able to convert all of them to 16bit 44.1khz wav using WINAMP. It has an output plugin called 'disk writer'. This plugin comes with the install. What it does is redirects the output to individual *.wav files instead of your sound card. Be sure to configure 'disk writer' before playing the files. This is also an easy way to convert mp3s to wav too. My AMD Athlon crunched through all 322 in ~25 sec.

you can also do mass file conversions with cool edit.

just go file open as, then highlight as many files as you want, it will open them as 16 bit 44100 then just click close all , and save, yes to all.
