Thanks for the shout on Cecil Mcbee :D after a bit of searching i found a dude called Pharoah Sanders ! and an album called Thembi , and there's a 5 minute bass solo by Cecil 8) just what i'm looking for mucho thanks,

Pharoh sanders is one of my favs......along with herbie hancock, sun ra, the art assemble of chicargo, stanley cowel.....list goes on
(dam that sounder like a madlib song didnt it, well i heard all of em except sun ra befor i heard lib!!!)
As for a bass solo, i know you already got one but-

no prob, wasnt sure, I have a couple of her albums. Really great albums on blue note. Anything on blue note is straight fire, if you follow artist on that label you cant go wrong.
