just to tape and back to computer, they are the drums from crate kings demo page but much warmer and there is no hiss that i can notice .

Good qual recording (little/no hiss)! What kind of tape deck did you use?

it is a Philips PD500B Double stereo recorder. I had it for a while but didnt know how to use it, and i thot it was broken, but it figured out how to read the meter and set the gain, its a little tricky, I think it would be better to eq before tape, but i didnt want to tamper with the samples on this.
