Hi, all,

I just let everybody know that SONY Acid Pro and SP 555 seems to work fine without any hassle configuring.

I can connect to laptop through SP 555 via USB, taking sound out or in from SP 555, playing VST instruments on Acid via Keypads on SP 555, all works fine.

Most useful things about ACID and using Sp 555 is File -> "Export Loops" feature, which allow to export all loops are defined in a project to multiple loop sample files at once, yes, ACID DOES BMP MATCHING for you. Thus, all exported sample loops syncs beats! Working around the issue of strange blank at the begining of sample. Yes,I just use "Wave Sampler to import these loops to Flash Card.

Step to compose music with Acid and Sp is, at first, I do compose foundamental track of songs on ACID, visual time line on computer screen really helps, also it gives me a way to undo recording. Vocal or analog input like guitar through SP, with an effect is great.

After all composition, cut, paste, changing pitch, EQ etc, then, export indiviudual track as loops, use wave editor to import those loops to SP 555.
YES, NO STRANGE BLANK AT START OF SAMPLE!

FYI:
Export loops feature doesn't come with Free version of Acid EXPRESS.CPU usage of acid is pretty low and nice, in contrast to Ableton Live.

Any way, if any one using ACID and SP 555, let me know what other tricks!!

I'm trying to import loops through the "Wave Converter"
...fails to import
...drag and dropping directly to CF Card root folder
...SP-555 blinks 'EMPTY'

Loop Samples on CD are...
2116 kbps / 24 bit / 2 Channel (Stereo) / 44 kHz / Wave samples.

I'm an Acid Pro user too...help on this issue would be appreciated!

Do they have to be 24 bit or 16 bit?

Hi, Im recording from my Sp-555 to Acid 6.0.....Im having a problem with the levels, when I record from the sp the levels are really low recorded when I play them from acid, also if I sample back from Acid (or stuff from my PC in general) the volume on the samples recorded on the SP are much lower then the factory presets. Ive put the output levels to 12db, at least then the volume is a bit higher when I record into Acid, but its still to low. Any one knows what to do?
