HI , I'am having problems loading samples onto my sp-555, When i use wave converter i import all my samples to the pad that i want them on. But when when i try to assign the on my sp-555 its always tells me to format my card. I have formatted my card several 100 times & i have not once been able to load my samples. I thought it was my memeory card so i went & bought another one, same problem. Any advice or help would be great.. Im stuck right now. Thanks in advance.

Wave convert for sp555 - I have found that program to be brilliant - I have loaded pads of more than 12 min stereo 44k to a bank and the pads play/display exactly as in the sp555. I am running on Vista - but I must add that XP pro gave me some headaches.
cheers

the wave converter program is excellent. it could not be easier

But you need the wave converter program...AND a card reader.

i was not aware that you needed to buy a seperate card reader at first either..and spent many a night trying to load them on via usb

put the compactflashcard into the card reader..connect the card reader to your mac/pc..and bam load the samples
should be easy

also note..when you first buy a compactflash card..it has to be immediately formatted to the sp....(read the manual for details on that)
and also make sure your compactflashcard is compatible with the sp

Hi
I faced such problem!
Left it here is how:
Has bought another CF-CARD (Transcend CompactFlash 4 Gb 133x) and all became good.
And more, I established more high-speed card, and time of loading from it at inclusion sp555 was reduced in two.
I think all business in card.
