I am looking for samples of Hip-hop drum kits. Any good sites that I could get free downloads? I know of torrents but I only find large files with a million sounds I dont need. I am still a noob at chopping samples and I would like some clean samples to add in the mean time.

Or if anyone has stumbled accross tutorials on taking Redrum kits from reason v4 and turning them into samples? Thats all I really need

if you are looking to take the samples out of reason, treat it like any other audio you would rip to your sp........just plug em into the line in, don't bother with that importing shit, just go from the headphone jack into the line in and sample to your hearts content, just make sure its gonna end up being the right volume when it comes time to have other samples

You will want to learn to chop...That will seriously help you in the long run, pluse, it's pretty easy and intuitive in the triple 5.
