Post subject:  Ableton and the 555

I have been using ableton and my sp 555 separately for awhile doing synth work with vsts and samples with my 555. My goal is to record the vsts synths to the sp 555 and ableton using a usb (if possible). And vise versa recording my 555 into ableton. Hopefully this is possible. If not I would love if you could tell me how to do this with the least gear possible.

I hope in the future tho to get the korg minilouge because that synth sounds beautiful.

Thank you and thank you.

I just bought an external sound card and did it that way. I'd love to use the sp directly, but roland doesn't even update the drivers for it anymore. Saw someone do this with the 404 so I know it will work for us. If anyone has a solution I hope they post it on here.

I recently came across a workaround for the driver problem. Haven't tried it myself yet, so try at your own risk.

easiest way tbh is to swoop an audio interface that just connects ur computer and 555 together... swear it'll save all ur time and troubles from messing with all this extra stuff.
