Cancel+D Beam goes into Sensitivity Setting, with Synth the pads work as a guide for the scale (sorta, a bit off sometimes). What's good about this is that you're still able to use Loop Capture (I think it will Sample/Resample as well). Too bad the pads can't be used to trigger notes, bummer.

Pressing Roll in Pattern Mode goes back to the Pad Bank that was used last before entering Pattern Sequencer, you can switch Fixed Velocity on/off too.

Edit: Fixed Velocity works the same way (vice versa).

Nice I didnt know about that pattern roll thing. That will come in handy for looking at pads before hitting sample instead of hitting sample then trying to remember wtf I was going play as its recording. Another little trick I think is hidden in the manual, is if you are using the roll on a pad and you have trigger on the d-beam, the d-beam acts as volume control for whatever pad you are rolling on. Get your roll on.
