Hi everyone,

I just bought a sp555, all works perfectly except for the backup feature.

If I make a backup, then delete one sample and reload the previous backup, THE DELETED SAMPLE IS NO MORE PRESENT!!!
THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN IN MY PREVIOUS SP 404 SX!!!

I read the manual many times, updated the fw to version 1.4, I got a sandisk ULTRA II 2GB which seems to be on the list of the supported card....

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME???

backup on the SP555 ONLY backs up banks A and B.
If you want to backup the other sample banks look up Export i think in the manual....this might be your issue.

Yeah, the SP-555 works like the 404 - they have internal banks (and that´s what the backup is about), the SX works directly off external memory (therefore it backs up all samples - that´s the most significant advantage over the regular 404 IMHO).
