Hi, I see there is no panning possible straightaway for mono samples on the SP-555 but can I resample mono sample(s) with effect OD+PAN for example and set overdrive to zero and just get the panned sample with no overdrive? If yes, if I then resample again or record the pattern with this newly made panned sample and use another effect on top of it (in particular AMP SIM) will the final sample stay panned or will be centered back?
Thank you guys!

If it worx like the 404 (and I believe it does) you can use the pan / tremolo effect, and resample in stereo. If you resample to mono you won't get any panning.

hey fauna the 555 actually got 2 panning effect, but each is combined with distortion or sum other shit... it's like a real bad joke.

@mutul
...but yes you could set the overdrive to zero but you still get a modified sample; panning and resampling works the way you described though.
as long as you keep the stereo format, the sample stays panned...
