Just wanted to check;
When you make adjustments to the samples on each pad (ie. change the start/end points or volume) does it instantly write those changes to the card so they'll be there if you take it out and put it in again?

also.

Is it possible to turn a sample up...?!!!!! Seems like a relatively obvious request, but changing the volume for the pad only allows you to make it quieter. Am I missing something?

Cheers folks. Have got my first gig with 555 on tuesday... Should be a blast!

It can't remember anything like that, also a sample can only be turned up as loud as it was recorded. When you're going to record something just hit start/end/level and turn the knob all the way up and don't worry if it peaks 'cause you can turn it down later.

it will remember start/end point edits if it's like the 404 but maybe i'm missing something in the question. about volume; you could resample it using overdrive or isolator and it might kick it up a little.
