It's now possible to add an attachment (e.g. a beat) to your post and private messages. So feel free to upload your beats, etc.

There are a couple of rules regarding attachments:

  • Unfortunately we can't allow the sharing of copyrighted material because our webhost could be held reliable. (ofcourse we can't check attachments in private messages
  • Every SP-Forums member can store attachments up to 200MB (total) in their private messages.
  • An attachment can be 2MB in filesize max if I'm correct. (technical limit)
  • SP-Forums can't guarantee the attachments will stay up forever, so make sure you have a backup!

For big files we recommend using an online upload website like http://mediafire.com/ or http://rapidshare.de/ . Also, email is still a good way to send files to specific people.

Have fun with the new attachment capabilities and let us know if you have any questions and/or suggestions.

Dope! Also more sites for bigger files - Megaupload(.com), YouSendIt(.com), and SendSpace(.com) can also be used. Good stuff keesj.
