| Post subject: | Life expectancy of an sp 404sx? or sps in general |
A tedious question but I am curious cause I bought mine for fairly new, it was used. I know it probably depends on how much you use it but I got this weird anxiety because im from a place where the sp 404sx is generally hard to come by. So how long has an sp lasted for any of u guys if it has died on u? |

I'm going to assume years, just depending on how much you take care of it, such as leaving it off when not in use, not playing it in smoky clubs, not trying to drop it, etc. I assume it works fine for you, and should continue to do so. Maybe some 202s have started to show their age, but they aren't too expensive to replace if they end up faulty. Just take care of your equipment and it will give you years of enjoyment. |

I've had my 404sx for like.. 6 years now. i replaced the volume knob and 2 pads are sorta glitchy. nothing that I couldn't clean off. after a couple of year you chould just play a tech to clean it off and it's going to be good for a whilllllle |
