I dont know if its worth doing but there seems to be a lot of midi questions lately. My idea is a MIDI CONNECTIONS forum. As I said its just an idea, I dont know if setting up a new forum for midi questions/answers is worth doing.

perhaps we should compile the common MIDI queries and their responses and put it in the SPI section

i'd be happy to write a basic MIDI guide to the SP-404 (there's not a heap to cover)

maybe just a sticky thread in SPI?

It could mention a little about how each SP deals with MIDI, and link to offsite resources for further explanation of how midi works, etc.

i'm not really a n00b with the 404, but i haven't really messed around with midi too much, and would totally benefit from what drewzle suggested - a midi how to for the 404.

obvs, each box may require some different stuffs.

but yeah, i would appreciate someone doing this.

Yep, the SPI would be the place - The questions about midi and the 606 always seem to be the same (how do I control Reason/FL? etc)..

Okay, the SPI-option seems to be the most popular. However, that does mean someone needs to write it. :)

@Drewzle,
Your contribution would be welcome start for this MIDI article! If you can find some spare time to write it, please PM it to me and I will add it to SPI.
