Post subject:  pattern loop back to beginning and play infinitely ?

hey guys, i just got an sp 404 sx and am new to this machine.

i am struggling to make my patterns loop back to 1.1 without going silent?!

basically i want my loops to play endlessly (exceeding the 10 minute mark)

i set up my pattern length to 99 (longest setting) and was hoping that once it reached the end, it would loop back to the beginning and play thru continuously..

but it just stops playing my loops/samples.

i have been reading the manual but cant seem to find.

if this is not possible, then i guess i have to turn off pattern and fire my loops manually ? the SP is slaved to my DSI tempest and if the SP is mot in PATTERN mode, quantize seems disabled ?

please help :)

Use pattern sequence to make the loop you want. Record that loop on something other than the sp, sample that recorded loop to one pad, trim it perfectly and use the hold button and it will play forever. Thats what i would do

turn ur samples off loop mode

when you hit a sample in loop mode if its on it turns it off, so the second time around the pattern is turning the sample off. just turn the samples off loop mode

set the pattern length to whatever the longest loop length is
