Anybody heard anything about new Roland's synth named GAIA?
So far all I heard is, it will be in competition with Virus and Waldorf.
There's nothing on the web so far... we just have to wait till the end of the month.

Wasn't that the code name / production name for the Roland Juno-G?

Don't know about that, but guy who was on roland's promotion (dealers only) in Hungary said it must remain top secret until Frankfurt Musikmesse 2010 in March.
It is supposed to be successor of SH 201 but much much more powerful.

Sounds interesting. I wouldn't mind a more low-budget priced synth to join the Roland family. :)

dunno why they'd build on the SH201 rather than build on the much nicer Radias engine.. still, I'm interested to see what happens

There's a few videos on that page. The price will be around $650 to $750.

I like the sliders!
