yo, so i'm looking to purchase some turntables. anybody has any experience with these:

i just need a pair to do some light scratching and sampling. I dont plan to be DJing anytime soon, though that's likely to happen in the future. Also money is another issue. I'm on a budget because it's not cheap to ship something from the U.S to Vietnam.

Well you definitely can scratch on those:

...of course if the guy could scratch.

In my opinion a pretty good entry level turntable set and the price is quite good. :)

thanks PHeMoX

but after doing more research on those, i think i'm gonna pass. I'm gonna save up some more and just get a Technics mk, cuz i'll rather pay a little bit more now and have a deck that could last ... forever than saving a little money now but have to buy a new decks everytime.

also, i want to learn how to scratch eventually so i think ultimately i'm gonna get the Technics anyway.

thank you for your input tho.

Steer clear from those DJ Battle Paks and DJ-In-A-Box shit. It's pure crap. If you want to get good decks for scratching that don't cost much, I can recommend the Gemini TT-04. Their cheap, but brilliant for scratching and mixing.
Numark TT500 and Numark TTX are fine, too. Numark TT200 is actually alright as well, it can just overheat after a while, though. And tech's are fine, too, of course.

I would normally agree with you, but in this case it's a pack with two rather good entry level turntables, that can be used to scratch as well. Of course, I don't think it's a bad idea to invest in more expensive Technics MKs, but they aren't the 'end all be all' of turntables either. :)
