If this is around $70-$80 I might pick one up. Otherwise the korg nano keys look more appealing to me right now.

Yeah they best have a decent price point. Too bad the Korg Nanos don't have MIDI ports. The Nanopad would be ideal for a 404, 12 pads and all.

Good point, I was only thinkin for computer use. I've never thought about using a controller to use any of my samplers cuz part of the fun is making the best out of the original hardware. *unless it was a rackmount

Nothing in particular. I'm very minimalist and appeals to that. No extra knobs n shit that can't control anything on an SP.

Just a note to those talking about korg nano products in here.

dont get the nanokey. . its just like a laptop keyboard in the shape of a piano-keyboard. .. the buttons are shite.

All the nano stuff seems pretty low quality from what I could tell at Guitar Center. I would break those in like a week and I'm pretty gentle on all my gear.
On the other hand I have korg padkontrol and I find that to be great for all my beat making needs and it has solid construction and pads that light like SP.

i would never touch the nano pads ESPECIALLY not the nano keys. but i picked up the nanokontrol because i needed a shitload of knobs and it definitely does the job even if it isnt rock solid

I'm pretty sure the nanoPAD is just a small version of the padkontrol, so it should be OK.

The nanoKontrol, I'm sure it does what it does too.

If you actually feel the nanopad it's really thin and cheap feeling and the point of a drum pad controller is to beat on it. The nanocontrol is probably fine since you'd just be tweaking the knobs.
