word,you picked up a Sampletrak?
I understand you because I have a 404 and still learning how to use it myself.
You'll be able to work it in no time and if you have questions, just ask :)

chopping on that thing is tough man. That wheel control thing moves the start/end point too much, and those + and - keys move way too slow.

I noticed that there was no sampletrak beatmaking videos on youtube. I wanna make one once I learn the machine.

yeah, chopping with the wheel can be tricky at first, but you can also chop sp style with the big loop pad which is like the mark button. You press pad 3(start point) and play the sample and when you see fit,you press loop/mark then press pad 5 (end point) and then press loop/mark and you can edit with the wheel,it's easier that way.
I started with the wheel and it did take some time to get used to it!!
A video would be a great idea man,I'd do one but I don't have a camera at the moment..
It's a pretty slept-on piece and a great companion to the sp-303/404/555:)

No problem man,

And a cool function is that you can set the nb of seconds if you want to sample say a one shot, the usual record and then press play/stop and use the + and - to select the length of that future sample.

Yeah, eBay is quite full of scammers... more often than not, if a deal seems to good to be true, it usually is.

Still, there are ways to deal with this, like only handing over cash in person. I'd totally recommend not sending any money hoping they will send their gear. Let them send in their gear first.

I forgot about this. I had a friend back in the early '80's that let me keep one and then he moved away :D
....then he came back to visit his grandparent a got it back. :(. but by then I was hooked and couldn't afford to buy one. What kind a friend was that?
