I was curious about the Yamaha multitrackers as well. There's one that looks a lot like a weirdo DX design, like a DX fucked a fostex and then their 4 track was born...

i have the mtx4 and the mt120. the last one came directly from the end of 90s when i used to use it with the akai remix16, a guitar and a bass. it's very cool to dub with because it has faders designed for cool mixing fx.
the mtx4 it's a bit more professional, but good to use.
