yo It's been a while. it's the pro sound and workflow I been after for a long time.
got the HD too, resample patterns, sample while sequencer playing.

do anything while sequencer playing! word. gotta refigure out the sliders tho.

yo, its mint condition too. I was gonna get a mascine , but yo 2500 chopping is quick and slick with easy mute groups. word. I dig how the screen flickers too.

anyone got tips or anything , couldnt find a 2500 forum in the first couple pages or google.

Don't have a 2500, but would love to own it one day. Got a couple MPC500 though.

2500 is ill so far made a beat, I used the compressor and recorded it then realized it was making my kick drums volume change, So I'm gonna have to find some fat kick drums that I dont need to compress, One weird thing I noticed is when you change the start points in trim while the sequencer is playing, it knocks everything out of time untill the next chop. confused me a little at first. I got this thing cased tho, that's why I'm kinda afraid to cop the MV, cause I will be sitting there for 2 weeks going, uh how does this thing work. ha. cant wait to get some fat drums tho soon, going to look into the akai wolf , looks like the price went up pretty high on those tho. :!:

I love the MPC2500 This is my main piece. I though I would add a 404sx to the mix for portability and some more effects. Check me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s44g-ox53jM

yeh man MPC with jjos is great. The sliders on the 2500 are sick, you will love it to assign them to pitch mod and filter cutoff for synths!!!

and for the drums, go to the editing screen, I think mode pad 11, if you change mode from start to end, and mess with decay, OMG sick drums

Not sure if you can layer multiple samples onto one pad with the 2500 or not...

The resampling method is pretty nutty on these modern MPC's too eh

Word I been on a 2500 a few years, only got the 404sx about 6/8 months ago which is why I'm here. But definitely grab that jjos it took me way too long to getting around to get it and maaan it makes a difference to your workflow especially when it comes to chopping up samples.
