Does anyone here has at least 100gb hard drive for mpc 1k. I need to upgrade because my 2gb is apparently not enough now that we have full support of audio tracks in JJOS2.

I just need to find a HDD that works with mpc so that I don't waste my money as in my country almost in 99.9% of the time they wont take it back if it does not work with my gear. those that are listed on the akai site are smaller.

thanks,
olby

p.s. i dont want to ask on mpc-forums. i am not even registered on that shit hole. I hate that page - trashed with ads and jealous people, pffft..

... is that really possible...?
All I know so far is that 80GB are the maximum! (Didn't try the JJOS2 yet...)

I saw many people using 100gb, basically as far as I know MPC will accept any size of hard drive while it is PC compatible standard 2.5" IDE HDD.

What I want to know does anyone here uses hdd for their mpc and what kind of model they use ?

(besides i heard 120gb are working with mpc 4000 which is older than mpc 1000 so why not?)

... yo I had to screwed it up with the result: it's a no-name hd.. :)
Didn't knew that already, bought that machine as a used object...
So it seems that there are no great compatibility troubles, but try to check elsewhere which hd works best. I had no troubles at all. ...
be careful on that mpc-forum...
