Ella - Your desk looks as messy as mine! It's like a giant orgy of snakes.. er, I mean wires ;)

Let me know how long your rechargeable battery lasts on both the st224 and the sp303. Rechargeable batteries generally hold less power compared to disposable batteries ( they have a lower mAh rating ) unless you buy more expensive ones. I am considering making a 6-AA battery cell to increase the time, but I still haven't tried to drain my regular 9v yet. It has lasted about 30 minutes of use so far.

the 9v rechargeable battery pack is not ok.
i tried it in the st224 and is about 20minutes (on 250mah), 40minutes (on 200mah)...i think that for the 303 is worst because the 224 goes on 300ma and the 303 goes on 1000ma, so it needs more energy...
anyway i will try another system (thanx again to 4ORMAL and SAM PLETRAK from ST224 forum). 6AA "standard" batteries together should do the thing...

see you later guys.

Some Sp ingenuity right there. Make the wire long enough you could leave the battery in your backpack while your banging away on the 303. Not to mention it would look cool.

HAHAHAHAHA! That's the way we do! Me and ellaguru have been contemplating doing the battery pack for a few months now. It's a great relief to know it can be done and with good results.

Just an FYI - The parts to do this are cheap. The battery holders and AC adapter tip will cost about $5 at radio shack. You will spend the most money on 6AA rechargeable batteries and the charger. Realistically if you had to buy all the parts new it would cost about $25.

sorry for my english but i don't understand.
what's a backpack?
in any case this is just a demonstration.

....and, believe me or not, the 303 is still playing!!!!!

now it must between 5 or 6 hours of playing with batteries...i don't beleive my eyes....this is not normal....but it happens....it must be the ghost of my cellar :) ....maybe the rechargeable batteries got some hidenn resources....

ps
hi nuemerikkkkk!!!!!!!!!

EDIT
i had to corrige what i said some minutes before...it's not 5/6 hours....it's almost 8 hours, because i started at 15:18 and now here is 23:14...crazy crazy crazy...now the 303 it only got lights "open" but if i try to play it goes on "off" to return back to "on" suddenly...i think i pushed batteries to their limits...
...so, considering that i was not listening all the time and that one time (after a little hour) i found the 303 "stopped), i can say...

***********FINAL TIME:BETWEEN 6 and 6,5 hours !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!******************************************************

Do you have any side noises? I made a rechargeable batt-pack the other day but I had some fucked up static noises... I was using an akku I found on the flea market... guess thats the problem?!

6hours are great!!! Could you make a photo? Did you made a case for the pack, i'm curious how yours look like...
