Hey...when i sequence, the beat will sound completly different to the way its played, and i cant figure out why. It seems like my chops dont play properly, like the starts or the ends get cut off...
any suggestions?

It seems like the problem is that you haven't assigned a quantize value before recording notes into your sequence. The 303 defaults to quantize off which would account for your notes landing off beat and then being cut off by the loop point in the sequencer.

hmm dont think thats it as i have tried setting a quantize value, the loop point isnt what cuts it off. its the actuall samples, the start points seem to be cut off...thanks for your help tho :)

Are the samples on gate playback, try putting your samples on trigger playback or one-shot and then play the sequence again and see if that fixes it. Sometimes when samples are on gated playback or loop it can act weird in the sequencer, just play with that and let me know if your problem is solved.
