I recently replaced and soldered my volume pot as it was too fidgety and almost always outputted exclusively to the left channel if turned hard enough. After replacing i was pleased to have this annoyance repaired, after listening to ext source and internal samples for a few mins i went to move the sp to my desk but it cut out. Since then it never outputs audio the first time i turn the unit ont. The most consistent method i've found to activate sound output is by turning it off and on a second time. It's obviously not as bad of an issue as my previous audio left right output issue however it would be so much easier if i could fix it. Any ideas? thanks champ!

If it was working good right after you fixed it, then cut out when you moved the 303, is it possible what you soldered came loose?

I replaced tact switches in my MPC & it worked fine for a few days, then 1 of the buttons just stopped responding. I opened it up & saw the tact switch came a little loose, so I soldered it again, made sure it was nice & tight & it has worked ever since.

Hopefully it's an easy fix for you & there isn't something else wrong with it!

Good luck

Another thought, is it possible something else came loose or got messed with when you worked on the 303?
