 Post subject: volume balance/fader..?

i'm new to the sp303, and sampling.. so i have this sample, but its recorded mono and everything is on the left.... can i fade it/balance it with the sp303 so it can be centered?

yeah, i think if you record it or resample it in mono then it should balance it.

so there isn't a volume fader on the 303? if not how would i record it balanced? i have a e-mu 0404 which has a mic A Hi-Z line and a B Hi-Z line... which A is left sound and B is right sound, which means i would have to use 2 mics for stereo... but how would i do mono?

nevermind guys.. i found out the problem

i have to push the "48v" button on the e-mu

yeah your right.. i guess it wasn't that... it was because i was recording with windows sound recorder, but with audacity its fine

problem solved anyway. thanks
