 Post subject: CF drive in 303..is it possible?

this may actually be a pretty stupid question but it's beyond my knowledge. My friend just ripped the floppy drive out of his mpc 2000 and put a cf drive in. Could that be done on the 303 swapping the sm for a cf?? One can dream.

Might be next to impssible. The MPC2000xl has an internal IDE port to connect a CF reader. The SP-303 probably has some sort of proprietary connection.

Yeah I figured something along those lines. It really is a stupid question regardless because the 404 already exists. I was baked.

It might work on a Roland W30 sampling keyboard, since it had a floppy drive. But I don't think it would work on any SP.
