Hey guys, wanted to resample a pad which is set to loop mode. sometimes it loops only 3 times and then plays the sample till the end and sometimes it doesn't loop at all and only plays like in one-shot mode. i tried this like 20 times and finally it would loop the sample at least 4 times. is that a common bug on the 303 or do you think it's the card which is acting crazy? not really a big issue but still annoying.

Have you tried switching it to gate loop mode? Might try that, only thing I can think of.

definitely a common problem i believe, although i've never had it happen that frequent, but its pretty common for me to let a pad loop on the 303 for a few minutes and have that happen at least once, usually it plays out to the end past the section i have marked, pauses, and then comes back in and continues to loop the marked loop normally, if you do it again does it take just as many tries, or was it just that one time??

thanx for the response!
i had the problem with gate loop mode and without. tried it about 50 times. but today i tried it with a different sample (already deleted the old one) and there was no problem. the 303 is a crazy little machine with its own character i guess. sometimes it just doesn't feel like working correctly.

I've had this problem happen to me too. The best remedy I found is to truncate the sample. Also if you're using pattern mode your loop will stop itself after the bar unless you sequence it in. Or my 303 is just fucked. It seems like they have a mind of their own sometimes.

I never had that happen to me for I always resample loops because some shit sounds better starting at the 3rd bar of the sample. Though I can't deny of occasional glitches in the 303, but most times its because I make it do too many things at once.

It can be the card. I use a 32MB smartmedia card and never removed it since I bought the 303... thats almost 10 fucking years since that card saw daylight!
