my smartmedia card stopped working

i have an sp303 with a 64 smart media card. i went a few days without using it, and when i turned it on today i can't access banks c or d and it seems as if the 303 is alot slower. i believe that it is failing to read the smart media card. has this happened to anyone?

I'm hoping that the card is dead and the 303 is not damaged.

try the 303 without the card and you'll see, this is not that diffiicult c'mon.
