 Post subject: playing 2 patterns at once

hey i just copped a 303 just wondering how to play 2 patterns at once because i recorded 2 patterns one drum one sample and when i press pattern select i can only play one at a time. how do i fix this?

sp303 cannot play 2 patterns simultaneously as you see.
so maybe you should try a different workflow.
remember to use fx (isolator effect as a sort of "mute/unmute weapon" for example)
remember that the 303 can also resample.

...so, try to "discover" the machine.

no. all the sps don't make resample of patterns (in other words they don't make resample of the main OUT), except the sp555.

why wouldn't you just add everything you wanted into the one pattern?? and if you want another pattern that just plays one piece of whats in that pattern, make another one but with only the pieces you want, or you can rock the isolator as a 'track mute' as well, all the knobs turned all the way down and then use the remain button to add it or take it off of certain pads as you want them to be muted, always keep a dummy pad with it on it though, cause if you only have the effect on one pad and you hit remain and take it off that pad, it turns the effect off all together, where as if you keep one pad thats not involved in your pattern with the effect on it, it won't turn off and you can just keep rocking the remain button
