Whats up guys, new to the sp-forums. I see some names that i see over at the mpc-forums. Anyway, i was wondering what some of your workflows are between the 2000xl and 303. (Other similar mp combos welcome.) I have seen a bunch of people use there 303 differently with their mpcs.

Welcome to the forum. You can use it as a live effects box or you can sample into the sp and chop it up on the mp so it has the phat ass sp sound and the mpc sequencing. These are just the beginning though, once you have them together you'll find all the crazy shit you can do with these boxes. 4151070Savage gettin' more rep on the sp-forum.

I meant more like set up wise. I know how to use my 303. I was just lookin to see how some others were working with this setup. I mostly just run samples threw the 303 and apply FX ect and the straight into the sample window. Nothing special or crazy about that but it works for me. There is alot of hype about 303 and 404, so i was just seeing how people are geekin with the 303 mpc combo. Thanks for your reply though.

Yadida dig?, I'm just spittin' bay slang cuzo. But on real life you should run the output of your mpc into the sp-303 and then run the output of sp-303 into the input of the mpc, then you can do some ill shit.

wouldnt that create feedback?

here is a good tip from olby
viewtopic.php?t=242&highlight=midi+mpc

I usually keep the SP and MPC seperate. They are both great and very different machines, but they both demand independence to me.

I guess I should've explained what I meant a little more but that's what experimenting is for. I didn't have people to ask so I just focused and recorded everything I made and keep experimenting to learn from my mistakes and discoveries.

I could careless if people don't like what I write when I try to help them, I help so many people on this site, even when I think to myself this is such as obviously dumb question. But I don't like to be an asshole and tell them to put in all the time in did, I just give a sufficient answer without giving away all tricks of the trade. I think he got butt hurt 'cause I blasted the mpc a few times this is SP-forums not FP, everyone here knows I used to own an mpc and actually like them. I just think they are over priced considering the software options available.
